Real Estate Website Design – Robert Song

Overview

Robert Song initially reached out after purchasing my Starx template. At first, the task seemed simple — adapt the template to fit his real estate website. However, during our conversations it became clear that the project deserved much more: a unique, minimal, and scalable real estate platform that would truly stand out.
The entire project was built directly in Framer, from the earliest wireframe layouts to the final interactive design.
Facts at a glance:
Duration: 3 weeks + 1 week for refinements
Platform: Framer
Typography: Poppins
Style: Black & White Minimalism

Challenge & Goal

What started as a request for a template customization quickly evolved into a need for a completely custom solution.
The challenge was to design a platform that looked clean and minimal, but also felt functional, intuitive, and professional — all while staying close to the Starx aesthetic that the client loved.

Process

Research & Setup
I began by collecting all the essential requirements from the client: the desired pages, content structure, and functionality for property listings.

Wireframes in Framer

Instead of sketching in a separate tool, I jumped straight into Framer, where the client could follow progress live. This made collaboration smooth and transparent.

UI Design

With the structure in place, I introduced the visual language:
Minimal layouts with ample white space.
A sharp black & white palette for clarity.
Poppins as the primary typeface for readability and modern character.

Iterations

The client shared live feedback directly inside Framer, which allowed for quick adjustments and several refinement rounds without friction.

Finalization

Once the main flows were polished, I added animations, interactions, and responsive layouts, bringing the platform to life.

Style Guide

The client’s vision was to stay close to the Starx template aesthetic — clean, minimal, and timeless. We used this as a foundation and expanded it into a design system tailored to real estate needs.
Colors: a simple black and white palette, ensuring strong contrast and elegance.
Typography: Poppins — modern, legible, and versatile.
Components: reusable elements like buttons, property cards, filters, and navigation built for scalability.
This style direction gave the website a professional and trustworthy presence, while keeping the user experience distraction-free.

Reflection

This project started small but evolved into something much bigger. By staying close to the Starx aIt was also a great opportunity to deepen my expertise in Framer as an end-to-end tool — from design to prototype.esthetic yet pushing it further, I learned how to turn a template-based request into a fully custom, branded solution.
By using Framer as an end-to-end platform, I ensured a seamless workflow and faster delivery. The client benefited from live collaboration, smooth iterations, and a polished final product — all in one place.

Thanks for checking out this project. If you’d like to discuss a collaboration or learn more about my work, feel free to reach out.
