Proofreading for Deposition Transcript
Sarah, a freelance courtroom reporter, was looking to have a 75-page deposition transcript proofread to match a very particular style prior to submitting it for official records. As the transcript needed no heavy editing or major alterations in order for the text to still convey exactly what was said during the deposition, light proofreading for minor errors (via PDF comments) was the best fit for Sarah's needs.
For this proofread, a stenographer style sheet was provided and only one round of proofreading was necessary.
The below transcript proofreading sample contains omitted details and information for privacy purposes.
The transcript, produced in Eclipse, was best proofread via Adobe Acrobat Reader's commenting feature. All proofreading was done to match Sarah's stenographer style sheet.
