To design a contemporary home that integrates Wabi Sabi principles while maintaining a balance between modern aesthetics, openness, and livability.
Strategy
A Wabi Sabi-inspired approach was used to combine modern design elements with natural materials, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere. An open layout enhances spatial flow and connectivity, while tall windows serve as a defining feature, bringing in natural light and acting as a visual focal point that strengthens the sense of openness and airiness.
