"Cool for the guests, and cool for the hoteliers."

DIRS21, one of the biggest software companies in hotel booking industry, launched its new product ONE with around 200 invited guests at the V8 Hotel in Böblingen near Stuttgart.
On-site feedback ranged from "absolutely brilliant" to "exactly what our establishment needs" to "so many innovations at once, it's insane." Not surprising, as the features of One go far beyond those of a conventional direct booking engine.

Going from Raw video to final product

Following shooting of the live streamed event using 4 cameras with up to 6 microphones, my task entailed cutting over 10 hours of footage into a concise video within an exceptionally tight timeframe.
Beginning with the synchronization of audio and camera feeds using timecode, I meticulously identified the most compelling moments to weave into a cohesive narrative. Selecting an energetic soundtrack further enhanced the overall impact.
Subsequently, I refined the initial cut by incorporating dynamic motion design elements and ensuring seamless transitions between cameras, despite the diverse lighting conditions posing a considerable challenge.
Adding nuanced sound design and optimizing dialogue quality were pivotal steps in enhancing the viewer experience.
After some revisions, I delivered the finalized video approximately four days following the receipt of the raw footage.
