EthicalNode V1 was the original version of EthicalNode’s multichain staking platform, built around the Cosmos ecosystem. The goal was to make staking across supported networks easier for users while handling the technical complexity behind validator data, wallet interactions, RPC connections, transaction tracking, and backend-driven staking logic.
I led the original platform build across product planning, architecture, frontend/backend coordination, backend APIs, blockchain integrations, and client communication. I also worked closely with the UI/UX developer to shape the initial layouts and make sure the platform experience matched both the client’s product goals and the technical constraints of the Cosmos ecosystem.
This original platform became the foundation for the later EthicalNode V2 rebuild, where the same client came back for a cleaner, faster, and more modern staking experience.

Challenges & Solutions
The main challenge was building a staking platform for Cosmos-based chains where not every network had EVM compatibility or smart contract functionality. That meant we could not rely on the same patterns used in typical EVM dApps.
To solve this, I helped architect a backend-driven staking system using RPC connections, backend APIs, transaction tracking, and custom logic to replicate some smart-contract-like behavior where needed. This allowed the product to provide a unified staking experience while still respecting the technical differences between supported chains.
Another challenge was making this complexity feel simple for users. We needed to connect wallet interactions, validator data, staking status, and transaction actions into a product flow that felt clear instead of technical or fragmented.
Outcome
The result was the original EthicalNode platform: a working multichain staking product with Cosmos-based integrations, backend-driven staking logic, validator data, wallet extension support, and a clearer user experience for staking across supported networks.
This V1 platform helped validate the product direction and created the foundation for future iterations. The strongest proof of reliability is that the client later returned for the EthicalNode V2 rebuild, where the platform was modernized into a cleaner website, admin dashboard, and investor dashboard experience.
