TW: Fantasy Violence, Death, Period Misogyny, Swearing I have been reading this series since the publication of the first book, eagerly waiting for each sequel every year: Daughter of Sparta (2021) Blood of Troy (2022) and now the final book in the trilogy. I was also happy to complete my seasonal book photo for each one! This ending to this series, a retelling of the myth of Daphne and Apollo, was everything I could ask for. There were moments of anger, satisfaction, tragedy, and joy. If you enjoy myth retellings reclaiming female characters and historical fantasies with touches of romance and adventure, then I highly recommend this book series! I also loved the audiobooks narrated by @britpressley.
