Casa Ysasi

is a Los Angeles-based platform where contemporary art meets collectible design, bringing Ysasi Gallery and Ysasi Studio together within one digital world.
As the business and its online offering evolved, the website needed to connect exhibitions, artists, editorial content, furniture, lighting, objects and commerce more clearly. We were brought in to make those different parts feel like one coherent experience without losing the curatorial character of the brand.

The challenge

Casa Ysasi is neither a conventional gallery website nor a standard online store. Visitors may arrive to discover an artist, explore an exhibition, read editorial content or purchase a collectible object, and those journeys needed to coexist without making the platform feel fragmented.
The challenge was to improve clarity and e-commerce flow while preserving the atmosphere, storytelling and sense of discovery that make the brand distinctive.

The Approach

We reworked the experience around clearer relationships between gallery, studio, content and commerce. Navigation, page hierarchy, product discovery and category structure were refined so visitors could move more naturally between cultural content and purchase journeys.
We also developed the CMS and product experiences to make the site easier to evolve over time, while custom interactions and visual refinements helped preserve the editorial and immersive quality of the brand.

The decision

Casa Ysasi is neither a gallery website nor an online store. We chose not to split it into two. One navigation connects exhibitions, artists, editorial content and products, so a visitor can move from an artist or an exhibition to a purchase without leaving the story.

The outcome

Gallery, studio, editorial and commerce now live in one platform. The team manages exhibitions, artists and products in one CMS, and the editorial character of the brand survived the move to e-commerce.
The collaboration has continued since 2024 with new exhibitions, products and features.
