Web3 E-commerce Redesign for Crypto Merch Company

In it for the Tech Tee Crypto Merch Company reached out, they had something special — a bold collection of Web3-inspired apparel for crypto-native users. Think: HODL hoodies, Bitcoin t-shirts, and meme sweatshirts. Their designs were loud. Their message was clear. But their website didn’t match the energy. It felt generic. Clunky. Like just another print-on-demand store with a crypto label slapped on. And for a culture so bold, that was a missed opportunity. They weren’t just selling products. They were selling Web3 identity — and the site needed to feel like it.
My Approach To Branding, UX, & Design With Intent I came in not just to optimize — but to reimagine their e-commerce experience from the inside out. Here’s what I did:
1. Designed with Crypto Culture in Mind • I built a new storefront experience that feels Web3 — bold typography, dark mode interface, animated wallet icons, and interactive hover states. • Introduced micro-interactions that gave the store a tech-forward, digital-native personality. • Rebuilt the homepage to guide product discovery, not overwhelm.
2. Product Pages That Convert • Each product page became a storytelling opportunity: I redesigned layouts to spotlight the “why” behind each item, not just the image. • Added urgency indicators (“Limited Print – 50 Left”) and token-reward banners for early adopters. • Added variant previews with real-time interaction feedback to improve user decisions.
3. Mobile-First, Speed-Obsessed • Over 70% of their audience came from mobile. So I created a lightning-fast, scrollable, thumb-friendly shopping experience that led to a 35% reduction in mobile bounce rate. • Product previews, cart access, and wallet login were all made one-click accessible.
4. Infused SEO + Analytics for Smart Growth • Optimized all on-site copy with crypto-specific search terms (e.g. “Ethereum hoodie USA”). • Added structured data and alt text to help products rank on Google Images and Shopping. • Connected heat maps to monitor scroll behavior and drop-off zones for continuous UX improvement.
