Scrapify App

We made this app during our 30 hour hackathon. The idea is to sell scrap items in your house like newspapers, plastics, cardboard boxes, aluminum and other scrap items through this app. Select the scrap items and enter its weight which will be added to the bag. Then you can confirm your pickup after which someone will come to your house and collect all the scrap items in exchange for money. We also wanted to make it like a social media app to spread awareness about recycling, global warming and climate change, so we added an articles section where users can add images which will be shown in a carousel, and a title and the content. We also have a leaderboard where users can see who has recycled the most in their local community so that they're engaged in a healthy competition for which the first second and the third person on the leaderboard will be rewarded.
