Nosara Recicla Website — Design & Build

Nosara Recicla is a local non-profit tackling the unique recycling challenges of a growing coastal town in Costa Rica. Their previous website wasn’t working — information was unclear, outdated, and hard to find. There was no way for residents or businesses to sign up for services, donate, or learn what could and couldn’t be recycled — a critical issue that was costing the centre time and money in sorting errors.

I partnered with them to redesign their site from the ground up. Built in Framer with AI-powered localisation, the new site is fully bilingual and structured across multiple pages to make core services and donation paths easy to access. Third-party integrations with their donation and payment providers allow for seamless giving. I also created a complete brand identity including logo, colors, and typography designed to reflect both the natural beauty of Nosara and the professionalism of the operation. The brand now lives across digital platforms, physical signage, and their recycling trucks.

The visual design is clean and approachable, with compressed assets and minimal animations to keep load times fast, even in low-bandwidth environments. Every detail was considered to help the organisation serve more people, with less confusion.
