For almost a year, I’ve been working with Frontify on an ongoing video project focused on helping users get more value from the platform.

So far, I’ve created 75+ onboarding and tutorial videos, with the project continuing to grow.

Each video is designed to help both new and existing Frontify users understand specific features, workflows, and ways of working within the platform — turning potentially complex product interactions into clear, easy-to-follow visual guides.

With 75+ videos in production, consistency became just as important as creativity.

Every video needed to feel like part of the same product experience while remaining focused on a specific user need. The challenge was to build a production workflow that could handle a large volume of content without sacrificing clarity, pacing, or attention to detail.

The videos also needed to stay closely aligned with the actual Frontify interface, making accurate screen recording and precise editing essential.

The workflow combines Screen Studio for recording the Frontify platform and Adobe After Effects for editing and animation.

Screen recordings provide the foundation, capturing the product and individual workflows in a clear and engaging way. From there, each video is edited and refined in After Effects, with attention given to pacing, transitions, visual emphasis, and making important interactions easy to follow.

And importantly:

Every video has been manually edited and crafted, from the initial screen recording through to the final animation and polish.

Creating a single tutorial is one thing. Creating more than 75 while maintaining a consistent visual language, production quality, and user-focused approach is a different challenge.

Over the course of almost a year, the project has developed into a streamlined production workflow that allows each new tutorial to be created efficiently while still receiving the same level of attention to detail.

The result is a growing library of practical video content that helps Frontify users learn the platform one workflow at a time.
