Design Challenge & Strategic Response

Migra-Health needed to establish digital credibility in a wellness market crowded with vague promises and unverified health claims. My design approach reimagined how credibility is communicated—using scientific citation as a core design language rather than decorative marketing. The result is a brand and website that lead with evidence, translating academic rigor into visual trust.

Visual Hierarchy & Information Architecture

I structured the homepage to lead with medical legitimacy, positioning 19 research citations as hero content. This unconventional approach required careful typographic treatment to make dense academic references feel approachable while maintaining their scholarly weight. The design prioritizes:
Citation-First Layout: Research references become visual anchors, not footnotes
Institutional Name Recognition: Hopkins Medicine and peer-reviewed journals receive prominent placement
Chronological Credibility: Studies spanning 1996-2025 demonstrate sustained research validation

User Experience Strategy

My design philosophy rejected flashy health marketing conventions in favor of academic transparency. I created an interface that speaks to informed consumers who scrutinize health claims, making complex medical research immediately accessible and digestible.

Brand Identity Through Content Design

Rather than relying on traditional brand elements, I used the research bibliography as the primary brand differentiator. This content-as-design approach positions Migra-Health as academically rigorous without appearing sterile or intimidating to potential customers.

Conversion Through Credibility

My design strategy recognizes that in healthcare, trust converts better than persuasion. By making scientific validation the visual centerpiece, I created a user journey that builds confidence through evidence rather than emotional manipulation.

Design Impact

This research-forward approach successfully transforms what could be dry academic content into compelling brand storytelling, establishing Migra-Health as the authoritative choice for evidence-conscious migraine sufferers seeking proven solutions.
