Maré — Custom Shopify Theme for a Caviar and Gifting Brand

Concept project. Maré is a fictional caviar house on the Sacramento–San Joaquin Delta: five caviars, three gift boxes and a monthly club, shipped cold across the lower 48. I designed the brand and every page, rendered every product in Blender, and built the store as a custom Shopify theme on Dawn.
The brief was a store for perishable gifts. Gift buyers need a tin to arrive on a named day, cold, with a message and the price hidden. Hosts ask how much they need for ten, and whether it will arrive Friday.
The idea: the tide table
Maré tins its caviar within one tide of the harvest, so the tide table carries the whole store:
Five tides: Neap, Flood, Spring, King Tide and Equinox, in order of grain size
Every lot: its harvest and tinning times plotted on that morning's tide
Delivery: the date picker is a tide table, with the cut-off as a time and holidays named
Rendered from the model
Stock photos can't show five caviars at one scale. I modelled the tins at their real sizes in Blender, scattered the roe with geometry nodes from each caviar's grain size, and rendered everything onto the exact page colour: 32 consistent renders.
Top views share one scale, 0.15 mm a pixel, so the gift box builder lays real renders into real wells.
Built for the merchant
No bundle app and no Shopify Plus. The client edits everything in Shopify admin.
Gift box: one parent cart line with its tins and extras nested under it (parent_id)
Delivery: zones, the cut-off and blackout dates as metaobjects, the choice saved to cart attributes
Product data: pearl scales, grain and lot from metafields and a lot metaobject
Search: predictive results, plus Club releases and serving chapters matched from metaobjects
Deliverables and stack
Brand: guidelines in 10 frames, wordmark and seal, 126 variables, 16 text styles
Design: 8 pages and 13 states at 1440, 834 and 390 px, 15 components
3D: a scripted Blender pipeline, 32 renders, builder cut-outs at one scale
Theme: 34 custom sections on Dawn, metafields, 7 metaobject types, nested cart lines, JSON-LD
