Glide SUP Landing Page Optimization – Case Study
The Glide SUP website redesign focused on creating a seamless, conversion-optimized browsing experience that reflects the brand’s adventurous outdoor identity. Our goal was to increase eCommerce conversions, improve user engagement, and communicate Glide SUP’s premium positioning in the stand-up paddleboard (SUP) market.

Client: Glide SUP – a leading US-based paddleboard company Objective: Improve conversion rate and user experience across key landing pages Service Provided: CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), UX/UI redesign, and SEO-focused content refinement

My Role

As the Marketing and CRO Specialist, I led the optimization of Glide SUP’s homepage, product collection pages, and product detail pages (PDPs). The focus was to blend premium design aesthetics with data-driven conversion strategies, ensuring that every element of the site guided users toward completing a purchase.
By aligning the brand’s visual storytelling with high-performance eCommerce principles, I helped create a shopping experience that was both emotionally engaging and conversion-focused.

What Was Created

Homepage Redesign: Optimized for first impressions, showcasing the brand’s identity through strong visual storytelling and clear CTAs.
Collection Pages: Designed to simplify product discovery and emphasize the variety of inflatable paddleboards and accessories.
Product Detail Pages (PDPs): Structured for trust-building — featuring benefit-led copy, customer reviews, and strong visual hierarchy.

CRO & SEO Tactics Implemented

1. Benefit-Driven Product Highlights Created concise, SEO-rich product copy focusing on key differentiators like durability, performance, and eco-friendly materials — helping Glide SUP rank better for high-intent search queries such as “best inflatable paddleboards” and “eco-friendly SUP boards.”
2. Impactful Hero Sections Used high-quality lifestyle imagery and emotion-driven headlines to capture the outdoor spirit of the brand. Each hero section was optimized with target keywords and strong CTAs to improve engagement and click-through rates.
3. UX & Conversion Flow Improvements Implemented clear navigation, scannable layouts, and trust signals like certifications, reviews, and guarantees — ensuring users could easily progress from product discovery to checkout.
4. On-Page SEO Enhancements Improved heading hierarchy (H1–H3), meta descriptions, and internal linking between paddleboard collections, product pages, and blog content to strengthen the site’s overall SEO visibility.
Social Proof Integration – Prominent placement of customer reviews, testimonials, and awards to validate product quality.
Conversion-Focused CTAs – Action-oriented “Shop Now” and “Add to Cart” buttons placed where user intent was highest.
Product Bundling – Promoted board + accessory packages to increase average order value while making purchases simpler.
Mobile-First Design – Ensured all pages were responsive, delivering a seamless experience on mobile and tablet for on-the-go shoppers.
Results: The refreshed design not only reflected Glide SUP’s adventurous brand tone but also delivered measurable uplift in engagement and conversions, helping the brand paddle ahead of the competition.
Timeline: The optimisation process spanned 5 weeks, from research and wireframing to final design implementation.
