Oddities is an exploration app that encourages people to be more observant on their day-to-day commutes.

The oddities app encourages a hunt for the weird and wonderful, by giving users tip-offs on where an oddity may be. When users wander through a certain area it will notify them that an oddity is near. Users collect these oddities and compete with friends to win prizes. When users notice something odd they are encouraged to post an image on Instagram and tag Oddities. These oddities are then generated and added to the app for people to find. The collectible oddities vary from plaques placed by pranksters to events of nature defying the odds.
