Peep is an up-and-coming glasses brand based in Brighton, UK. Peep prides itself on promoting diversity and uniqueness through wacky frames and colours to suit anyone and everyone. 

They are looking for a designer to create a brand logo, business card and accompanying pattern to be used across all their collateral. They want the brand and pattern work to represent summer, positivity, and self love. Their slogan is ‘Sunglasses your way’, which evokes a feeling a self expression and customisation. Your design will need to intrigue customers to step out of their comfort zone and try something new.

My approach begins with a profound appreciation for diversity in all its forms. Peep is a brand that champions individuality, and I believe that the visual representation should reflect this. I strive to create designs that are inclusive, representing a spectrum of shapes, colors, and styles to resonate with a wide and diverse audience.

I chose the "Cookie" font for the Peep logo and certain design elements because it embodies a sense of playfulness and informality. The bold and chunky style of "Cookie" adds a touch of whimsy to the brand, which aligns with Peep's emphasis on fun, individuality, and self-expression.

This font choice communicates that Peep is not just a brand for eyeglasses but a brand that encourages customers to step out of their comfort zones and try something new with their eyewear choices.

The chosen fonts and color palettes collectively represent Peep's brand identity. They convey the brand's values of diversity, positivity, self-love, and summer vibes through a playful, informal, and eye-catching design approach.
