The Brief
Phasio is a GLP-1 companion app built to support patients on Semaglutide and similar weight-loss medications. The founders came to us with a clear mission: build a brand and digital experience that felt clinical enough to earn trust, but human enough to make patients actually want to use it.
The engagement covered the full spectrum — from naming refinement and brand identity through to a multi-screen mobile app and a conversion-focused marketing website. We also delivered a full design system and component library to ensure the team could build and scale consistently after handoff.
The Challenge
The GLP-1 medication space is growing rapidly, but most digital tools in this category feel sterile, clinical, and transactional. Patients using these medications often experience an emotional journey — hope, setbacks, milestones — and there was no app designed to reflect that.
We needed to design something that felt like a premium health companion: data-driven and trustworthy for practitioners, but warm and motivating for patients.

BRAND IDENTITY
Building the Brand
The Phasio brand needed to sit at an unusual intersection: the precision and trust of a medical tool, with the warmth and motivation of a lifestyle app. We landed on a visual language built around phases — progress, motion, and transformation.
The Mark
The wordmark uses a custom-weighted grotesque with subtle geometry — approachable yet clinical. The "Ph" is weighted to mirror the pharmaceutical shorthand, grounding the brand in its medical context without feeling cold.
Color System
We paired a deep near-black (#0A0A0A) with a signature teal (#00D4AA) that communicates vitality and forward momentum. The teal is used sparingly — exclusively for data, CTAs, and positive indicators — making it feel earned and meaningful rather than decorative.
Typography
A single geometric sans-serif family carries the whole system. At large display sizes it feels bold and confident; at body sizes it reads clearly on dark backgrounds. The typographic scale moves from 96pt hero titles down through structured data labels — all within one cohesive family.

The App Experience
The Phasio app serves two distinct user types: patients tracking their GLP-1 journey week by week, and practitioners monitoring multiple clients. We designed these as two coherent views within the same app — unified by the design system, but tailored to each user's needs.

Home Dashboard
The home screen immediately orients the patient. Phase status, current weight, weekly delta, compliance score, and energy level are all visible above the fold. A weekly bar chart brings the trajectory to life — showing not just where you are, but how far you've come.
Weekly Check-In
Every week, patients log their weight, confirm their injection, and rate their wellbeing across four dimensions — side effects, energy, mood, and sleep. Slider inputs feel tactile and honest. Notes let patients add context in their own words. The whole flow takes under 90 seconds.
Progress & Milestones
The progress screen transforms raw data into a narrative. Patients see their phase on a treatment roadmap, celebrate milestones (5%, 10%, 25 lbs), and track non-scale victories like energy and sleep improvements — critical motivators that weight alone can't capture.
Practitioner Dashboard
Clinicians using Phasio get a dedicated view designed for caseload management, not personal tracking. At a glance they can see all active clients, their compliance percentages, and any flagged risk patients — with the ability to drill into any individual's week-by-week data.
The "RISK" flags are a key feature — automatically surfacing clients who may need outreach based on compliance drops or missed check-ins. This turns Phasio from a passive data store into an active clinical support tool.
AUTH & ONBOARDING
First Impressions
The onboarding and authentication screens set the tone before a user even logs their first weight. The splash screen pairs a warm editorial photograph with the Phasio wordmark and tagline — immediately human and approachable. The dark-mode auth screens maintain brand consistency while feeling premium and secure.
LANDING PAGE
The Marketing Website
The landing page needed to convert two audiences simultaneously: patients searching for a better way to track their GLP-1 journey, and practitioners looking for a clinical companion tool for their clients. We structured the page to speak to both.
The hero opens with the core value proposition ("Your weight loss journey, reimagined") backed by live app previews. Social proof stats (50,000+ users, 18 lbs average lost, 96% satisfaction) establish credibility immediately. The feature section maps benefits to the specific jobs-to-be-done each user type cares about.
Key Sections
The page moves through: hero → social proof metrics → feature breakdown → how it works (3-step) → testimonials → pricing tiers (Starter, Personal, Practitioner) → final CTA. Each section has a deliberate job, building trust and removing friction to sign up.
Pricing Architecture
Three tiers were designed to capture the full user spectrum: a free Starter for curious patients, a $9/month Personal plan for committed individuals, and a $49/month Practitioner plan for clinicians managing multiple clients.
DESIGN SYSTEM
Built to Scale
Every component in the Phasio ecosystem — buttons, cards, form fields, sliders, nav bars, data labels — was built as a reusable token-based component. The design system was delivered alongside the screens as a Figma library.
