Redesigning my template store to match the premium quality of my templates

As a designer and developer who builds premium, conversion-centric Framer templates for startups and productized agencies, my own storefront needs to set the standard.
I recently completely redesigned and relaunched framer.ing from the ground up. The goal was simple: create a light, modern, and visually stunning space that captures the high craftsmanship of the templates themselves. I wanted a storefront that felt airy, ultra-premium, and fast—giving creators and startup founders immediate trust in the quality of the work they are purchasing.
Here is how I designed, developed, and launched the new template store.

The Vision & Brand Direction

I moved away from my older design to establish a clean, high-contrast, light-mode-first aesthetic.
Typography: Anchored by modern, high-character fonts (using clean combinations like Recoleta and Helvetica Neue) that feel editorial yet tech-forward.
Grid & Spacing: I prioritized generous whitespace and clean border lines to let the colorful template previews stand out as the hero elements of the store.
Micro-animations: Added subtle hover interactions and transitions to make the entire browsing experience feel premium, tactile, and alive.

A CMS-Powered Architecture

To make the site highly scalable, the entire store runs on a robust, multi-collection Framer CMS engine. This allows me to easily manage and publish:
Templates (/:Templates): Each individual template page dynamically renders features, purchase links (integrated with checkout), custom categories, and multiple preview images.
Educational Resources (/blogs & /tutorials): A centralized place where I can publish guides, tips, and tutorials, helping the community get the most out of Framer.

The Page Breakdown

I built out a comprehensive sitemap to handle the full customer journey, from discovery to education:
Home (/): The storefront. It showcases featured templates, highlights key benefits, and embeds social proof.
Templates Page (/:Templates): Dedicated conversion-optimized landing pages showcasing the depth of each template (like ConvertApiFlowImaginate, and Citebound).
Wall of Love (/wall-of-love): A dedicated grid displaying testimonials and reviews from clients and creators who have used my designs.
Tutorials & Blog (/tutorials/blogs): Hubs for sharing Framer-specific knowledge.
License (/license): A clean, simple legal layout outlining terms of use.

The Result & What’s Next

The new framer.ing is fully live, boasting lightning-fast load times and meticulous SEO optimizations.
This relaunch isn't just a redesign; it's a foundation. With the CMS and the design system in place, I am now set up to scale the store, launch several new template concepts, and publish detailed tutorials on a regular basis.
