Online calculator for electric taxis savings

Agencia de Sostenibilidad Energética (Energy Sustainability Agency) is a non-profit foundation. Their mission is to promote, strengthen and consolidate the efficient and sustainable use of energy by articulating the relevant actors, nationally and internationally, and implementing public-private initiatives in the different energy consumption sectors, contributing to the competitive and sustainable development of the country (Chile).

In 2020 Agencia SE launched a program that aimed to give concrete support so that owners of basic taxis can change their vehicle for an electric one.

For this program, a basic calculator was needed so that the people that applied could understand the benefits that they could get.

The calculator had to be developed in HTML5/PHP, no other technology was wanted.

I developed the calculator using HTML5 / PHP and JavaScrips/CSS for functions and web design.

The web calculator consists in 2 pages, the first one used to get the input values of the user with sliders or boxes and the second one giving the results of the calculations.
