Rebuilding Woz Landing Page for Performance

Challenge

Woz is an AI product that helps users build mobile apps through prompts. They needed a landing page that clearly explained the product, captured attention fast, and converted curious visitors into early users or leads.

My Role

Landing page strategy
Visual concepting in Figma
Full Framer implementation
Iterative collaboration with co-founders

The Process

Week 1:

I started by understanding Woz's vision in depth through async messages and Looms from the founder. I asked direct questions like:
What’s the single most important thing a user should know after 5 seconds?
Do we want to build hype or guide with clarity?
Based on that, I created three initial Figma layout explorations:
A bold hero with a looping video showing prompt-to-app generation components
A simple value prop stack with icons and scroll-in animations
A split layout with one side showing AI components flowing in an animated way.
The founders preferred the “hero-first clarity” version, so I refined it. Here are designs that didn't make the cut.

We finally decided that a simple and clean version focusing on the mobile apps would convert users better.

Week 2:

The tone of the headline (from minimal to confident)
AI demo visuals, where I created placeholder UI to simulate Woz’s interface
CTA placement and copy, testing "Get Started" vs "Create App" vs "Generate"
The page structure stabilized into:
Hero with subheadline + looping app generation animation.
Who Woz offers services for
How Woz works with you (reliability, speed, design quality)
Social proof + founder highlight
Pricing Plans
Clear CTA again
Initially, we had multiple sections that was tweaked down to focus on Woz's most priority value prop. Then finally the design was approved after narrowing down the sections.

Building the Website

After approval, I rebuilt the entire page in Framer with:
Responsive layout for mobile
Scroll-based animations
Optimized load speed for LCP (largest contentful paint)
Hover + tap effects on CTA and demo elements
Components and CMS structure on the framer
Also made sure I named all my layers 😇
I also worked with their developer to plug in early email capture.
