PORTA Showroom

SUMMARY

PORTA is one of the leading sanitary ware manufacturers in Pakistan. Designed with precision and maximum perfection the products of PORTA are industry leading and they wanted to portray as such for their first executive showroom. Emberline Studios provided with the interior design services for PORTA as well as provided with the execution drawings for the interior space.

BRIEF

PORTA specializes in sanitary ware as well as ceramic and porcelain tiles but this showroom was focused on the display of sanitary ware, faucets and showers etc. The whole range had to be displayed with respective zones. A bar and a sitting lounge was also to be introduced which was merged as the design later evolved. A premium logo wall was to be designed which would serve as a welcome and farewell for visitors. 

SITE VISIT AND ANALYSIS

Showroom site is located on Raiwind Road, Lahore. It had an approximately 5000 sq ft covered area with a height restriction of 9' due to fall ceiling already installed by the previous occupiers.

MOODBOARD

As part of the design process and to connect with the client better, we always develop an inspiration board which we call Moodboard. Its function is to be on the same page with client before any design work so we can reduce changes in design or worse a complete overhaul. We present it to the client and discuss our creative direction and we are planning to do with the space.

SHOWROOM LAYOUT

We came up with three options for the journey. Intending to be immersive and informational, our aim was to create an experience that a person would remember a long time.

PORTA LOGO WALL

Client wanted to make a statement with the logo wall - one which would serve as "first impression is the last impression". We designed a layered marble cut-out feel with a prominent PORTA logo on top vertical louvers.

SHOWROOM INTERIOR DESIGN

Lets have a look at the Interior space that was developed. The zones are divided into product specs: vanities, WC section, bath tub displays, faucets, basins, accessories, bar & lounge, kitchen items, model washrooms and ablution units etc.
