The awareness of death functions as a catalyst rather than an end. Fear of mortality becomes a driving force, shaping the way life is lived. Rooted in the coexistence of Eros and Thanatos within human instinct, this work reflects a tension between opposing impulses that ultimately propels one forward.

As a moth is drawn toward fire, the monument-like 3D printed sculpture embodies the resolve to live fully in each moment. It represents an attitude of moving forward with intention, embracing the present so that life may be lived without regret.
