There’s one thing all Disney foodies have in common, we all love the Epcot World Showcase. Epcot has the most diverse cuisine out of all the Disney parks. Whether you’re looking for a formal three course meal or a quick snack during your mission through the park Epcot has the best of the best.
As passholders we have spent countless hours exploring the cuisine that is the Epcot World Showcase, these are our top five picks when it comes to snacking.
5. Pretzel Bread Pudding
You can find the pretzel bread pudding at sommerfest in the Germany pavilion. It makes the list between the creamy icing on top and the moist middle its packed with flavor. Its generally inexpensive and easy to share with friends.
4. Empanadas Con Queso
You can find these delicious cheese empanadas at the La Cantina de San Angel in Mexico. Not only are the empanadas so tasty, but the rice and beans will blow your mind. This is a must try during your visit if you’re in the mood for something savory.
3. School Bread
The school bread is in Norway at the Kringla Bakeri. With this dessert its flavor is very unique you get a combination of coconut and custard. The thing that I really like about this snack is that its not overly sweet. Making it a must try snack that’s also easy to walk and eat if you’re on the go.
You may notice that a lot of these options are sweet, but Epcot also has a ton of salty snacks that I like almost as much these.
2. Shaved Ice
The shaved ice at Japans Kaki Gori Stand is a very versatile snack. Not only does it hit the spot on a hot Disney day, but it comes with a bunch of different flavor options. You can also choose to top it off with milk or grab an alcoholic version.
This is also an all time favorite for my daughter she really enjoys having this cold treat on a hot Florida day. That’s why I also deem this a very family friendly stop.
1. Croque Glace
Yes! This is a toasted ice cream sandwich located in the France pavilion at L’Artisian des Glaces. They start with a fluffy brioche bun and then you get to choose between raspberry or chocolate drizzle. After that you go down the line and choose your ice cream flavor. It’s the perfect mix between a cold and warm dessert and is so custom and delicious which is why its my number one.
Though the amount of food options at Epcot can be overwhelming I encourage you to go out of your comfort zone and try new things because you will be amazed by all the flavors and cultures they have mixed into one park.
