Helping Hundreds of College Students: Shiksha UG PG

Shiksha UG PG, an educational platform, engaged my services to develop a comprehensive solution catering to the needs of college students and professors. The project involved creating an Android application, an admin panel, and a landing page, focusing on facilitating the purchase and distribution of study materials.

Android Application: A platform for college students to buy study materials curated by college professors.

Admin Panel: A system for professors to upload notes, set prices, and manage their content.

Super Admin Access: Capability for super admins to manage study materials, add or ban users, and perform other administrative tasks.

Landing Page: A web presence to enhance online visibility and accessibility.

Payment Gateway Integration: Enabling secure and convenient transactions within the app.

Mobile Application: Developed using React Native for Android.

Backend: Built with Node.js and MongoDB.

Admin Panel: Created using Next.js.

Hosting and Server Management: The backend is hosted on a VPS with NGINX configuration.

User-Friendly Mobile Application: The primary challenge was to create an intuitive and easy-to-navigate application for students. By utilizing React Native, I ensured a seamless and responsive user experience compatible with a wide range of Android devices.

Efficient Content Management: The admin panel needed to be robust and user-friendly so that professors could upload and manage content easily. Using Next.js, I developed a streamlined interface for content management and pricing adjustments.

Super Admin Capabilities: Implementing comprehensive controls for super admins was crucial. I incorporated features for complete oversight, including editing materials, managing user access, and administrative functionalities.

Secure Payment Integration: Integrating a reliable payment gateway was essential for smooth transactions. I ensured the integration was secure, efficient, and provided a hassle-free payment experience for users.

Scalable Backend Architecture: The backend was designed to handle a growing number of users efficiently, using Node.js and MongoDB. The system was hosted on a VPS, ensuring robust performance and scalability.

The Shiksha UG PG solution has been successfully servicing over a hundred daily users, providing them with affordable and curated study materials. The Android application has been well-received for its user-friendly design and functionality.

The admin panel has streamlined the process for professors to contribute content, while the super admin features have ensured effective platform management. The landing page has effectively increased web visibility and user engagement.
