ABOUT THE ROLE
Hired as an Email Marketing Manager to assist the Head of Product Marketing. We were a team of two. Duties included copywriting, creative direction, email development, and collaborating with biz ops and data analytics teams to create highly personalized emails.
TARGET AUDIENCE(S)
The bulk of my work at Grammarly was to the Freemium users—users who had only signed up for the free version of the service but had not yet upgraded. Also composed a weekly newsletter to users who could be considered grammar enthusiasts or writers. These are people who either used the free or paid version of the app and were genuinely interested in all things related to writing.
EXAMPLES OF WORK
Welcome email sequence for new sign ups.
Gamified notification email based on user activity, triggered when extension or app has not been logged-in after 30 days.
Weekly activity report based on user data that includes: grammar corrections/mistakes, word count, etc. An extension of the annual "Your Year with Grammarly" email
