Development of Compensation Intelligence Platform for BioSights

BioSights is a compensation intelligence platform for life science companies. A company uploads its own pay data, and the platform matches each role against a benchmark catalog and shows where its people sit against the market: by role, level and location, with the record count behind every figure.

I worked directly with the founder to build and ship Release 1, live and open to real companies.

Company workspace covering overview, market comparison, company compensation, saved comparisons, data health, imports, consulting, settings and help.

CSV import with automatic column matching, row-level validation, and refusal of any file containing personal data.

Duplicate handling that supersedes an older record with a newer one and records the reason when a row is not accepted.

Benchmark engine with role and level matching, cohort percentiles, geographic fallback, and versioned publication so a figure cannot change after release.

Administrator and analyst roles enforced at the application layer, with tenant isolation verified end to end.

Operator console: company eligibility, unmatched titles and outlier review, consulting replies, benchmark publication, editable help content, team accounts and a full audit log.

Row-level security across every database table, and a synthetic demonstration workspace excluded from all published figures.

Automated test suite of 68 checks run against the live environment, plus five operational documents for handover.
