I previously spent 16 years working as a mechanical engineer, including 8 years as a freelancer. Since I still do some of that work, I needed to put together a significantly nicer website than the basic WordPress one that I'd put together when I justed started out. I wanted to rebuild it and create something I'd be happy to buy from a freelancer offering the same services.

The project involved the following:

Frontend built with Bootstrap, custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Backend built with Flask

Website deployed via Railway.app
