The ten year anniversary celebration of Spotify; a massive event where 2500 employees were flown to Stockholm for a 4 day event. Project start 18 months prior.

The ten year anniversary celebration of Spotify; a massive event that flew in the entire global team for a four day event in Stockholm. I was hired by Spotify as creative project manager with the goal of building an unforgettable experience that would ensure water cooler chat for years to come. Celebration X was one of my 15+ projects for Spotify over six years, and by far the most challenging.

Our core group specialized in different areas of expertise and planned Celebration X for a year and a half.

Among our many tasks

Conceptualized and created Celebration X’s branding

Designed and developed an application encompassing guest experience as a whole, from saving the date to providing feedback after the event

Focused on designing and executing: Fifteen conferences, three parties, chartering planes and ticketing 2000 guests from all global offices, planning all hospitality and logistics, planning, obtaining and organizing all food and beverage and hiring all external suppliers.

My responsibilities included but were not limited to

Internal project group management

Overall project management of our general day-to-day operations

Action lists and follow ups

Agendas

Spearheading all internal meetings

Developing and leading project plans

Building all front of the house “run of show” schedules

External project management

Hiring and negotiating external vendors such as tech companies to build the internal application, bus, taxi and boat companies for all transportation and logistics needs, staffing suppliers, conferences and party venues, food and beverage suppliers, and, decoration companies.
