Currently, the market conditions in Bangladesh show a steady rise in prices of grocery and food products. The majority of families in the country belong to the middle class, and this price hike is affecting them greatly. The poor and middle-class families, in particular, are facing difficulties due to this trend. Some business owners are taking advantage of this situation and forming syndicates to increase their profits. As Bangladesh is an agriculture-based country with ample food production, there should be enough food stocks to meet the demand of consumers. However, the syndicate system is manipulating the stocks with unhealthy chemicals, leading to a further increase in prices. As a result, many families are now eating less than before, which is causing additional problems. This issue is growing day by day and demands immediate attention.
