Case Study 01 · DJI Action & Pocket Series

Own The Action.

Client

Official DJI retailer in Romania

My role

Concept, art direction, design, retouch. Solo.

Formats

Key visuals, social, push, display, 9:16 story

Context

Recurring campaign briefs with broad objectives. I owned each one from the first concept through to final delivery, across every format the retailer needed.

Challenge

Turn product features into a campaign idea with very little creative direction. References were a starting point, not a solution. The same idea then had to survive a wide banner and a vertical story without falling apart.

Approach

One idea per campaign: the energy of the activity set against the precision of the product. A single type hierarchy, one colour logic and one product treatment rule, so a push notification and a full width key visual read as the same campaign.

Outcome

Published across the retailer's website and communication channels. I was the only designer on the account, so every campaign shipped as one system rather than a set of separate files.
Sole designer on the account. Concept, art direction, design and retouch, with no creative director above me.
One key visual adapted to 10+ formats, from wide banner to 9:16 story, without redrawing the idea.
AI assisted concepting. Activity worlds generated to test routes fast. Composition, product treatment and final retouch stayed manual.
The same system at 9:16, story and reel format
