What is Concor?
Concor is a medication containing an active substance called "Bisoprolol fumarate" which
belongs to the beta-blocker family that makes your heart more relaxed and beats slower.
✅ What is it used for?
● It is used to lower high blood pressure levels (Hypertension)
● It also could be used along with other medications in the treatment of some heart
problems as indicated by your healthcare provider.
✅ How do I take it?
● It is available in two concentrations; 5mg and 10mg.
● In case of hypertension, it is recommended to start with 5 mg once daily and
increase to 10 mg once daily when needed.
● Don't take more than 20mg per day, unless your physician told you.
⚠️ If you have kidney or liver problems, do not take more than 10 mg per day.
Not recommended for children.
⚠️ Warnings & Precautions
● To be used with caution when the patient has heart disease.
● It should be used as prescribed.
● It shouldn't be used if you are sensitive to Bisoprolol.
✅ Possible Side Effects
● Low heartbeat
● Headache
● Dizziness
● Problems in the digestive system; nausea, vomiting, and constipation
● Coldness or numbness in the extremities,
If any side effects upset you, tell the doctor.
