Rug Love - Custom Features Development

I had the pleasure of working on a Shopify store called "Rug Love," where I developed custom features to enhance user experience and functionality. The client aimed to create a unique, visually appealing, and highly functional e-commerce site for their premium rug collection. They needed advanced customization beyond standard Shopify capabilities, involving complex Liquid, CSS, and JavaScript solutions.

One major challenge was creating a dynamic filtering system that allowed customers to easily find rugs based on specific criteria such as size, color, and material. To address this, I implemented custom Liquid code combined with CSS for seamless styling and JavaScript for interactive elements. This solution improved the site's usability and increased customer satisfaction.

Another challenge was optimizing the site's loading speed while maintaining high-quality images and intricate designs. I employed efficient coding practices and image optimization techniques to ensure fast load times without compromising on visual appeal.
