The client. Planetario Alfa is a local science museum from the industrial cluster Alfa. Its mission is to promote kids' interest in science and nature with its space observatory and aviary.

Objective. The objective of the project is to transform advertisement tarpaulins into souvenir store products to promote recycling and create consciousness of nature conservation. Also, it aims to develop an identity product for the museum that could be identified exclusively by its morphology (since the material will not be homogeneous for all products).

Solution. Design a soft goods product family inspired by birds in the aviary and their nests. After a thorough field analysis of visitors' preferences, behavior, and store purchases, a backpack, lunch box, and wallet were chosen for development. The products were designed to be appealing to kids as well as adults (since souvenir store products are also purchased by experienced scientists who visit the museum). For this project, naming and branding for the collection "Aveco" were also developed.
