This one was personal. A friend’s father-in-law in the UK was starting his own renovation business: years of hands-on experience, but no brand and no online presence.
In a market where homeowners check a builder online before they ever pick up the phone, that gap mattered. The goal was simple: make a small family business look as reliable as the work it delivers.

The business is named after his two daughters, Elle and Kris, so the brand had to carry that same sense of family. Their initials became an EK monogram with a roofline, refined from rough sketches into a clean, confident mark.

Deep blue brings trust, while warm sand and orange keep the family warmth that big contractors usually lack. One typeface, Sora, holds it all together across business cards, social media and the web.
The website is now live: a calm, responsive experience built around what homeowners actually need, from what the company does and how it works to an easy way to request a quote. For a business just starting out, it’s the first impression that has to work before the first phone call.

Thanks for taking the time to look through this project. If you’re building something of your own, whether it’s a brand, a website or an AI-powered product, I’d love to hear about it. Reach out here on Contra or explore more of my work at → digitalgoat.space
