Merchants lost revenue when SKUs went out of stock because Flexport had no way to automatically fulfill those orders. High-volume apparel sellers were hit hardest. Every stockout meant manual work, delayed fulfillment, and frustrated customers.
I designed a Back-Order system that gives merchants configurable control over how out-of-stock orders are handled, without adding operational complexity.
