Shortbread is a premium interactive romance-story app designed for binge readers. It offers thousands of spicy romance episodes, cinematic illustrations, and long-form storytelling built like a visual TV series.
My role was to help the team deliver a smooth, high-performance iOS experience—optimizing story rendering, building custom UI components, and ensuring the app handled heavy image content without slowing down.

I implemented a panel-based reading UI that feels like a mix of story comics and visual novels.
Users can tap through scenes, view character art, and follow conversations in a clean, focused layout.
High-Quality Artwork Integration
The app displays hundreds of illustrated scenes per story.
I optimized image rendering and caching so episodes load fast without overwhelming device memory.
