The challenge? Branding a branding agency--it's just as meta as it sounds. To celebrate their 20th anniversary in the branding industry, The Buddy Group commissioned me to plan an animated intro campaign to add to the front of existing TBG video content and future content to be produced through 2025. Through meticulous storyboarding, brand research, and company brainstorming sessions, I produced a multimedia animation paying homage to over 20 of The Buddy Group's past and current clients: McDonald's, NBCUniveral, Hasbro, Virgin Voyages, etc. One of the bigger hurdles to jump with this animation was bridging the visual language and identity of each individual brand with a cohesive story and dynamic TBG-inspired through line. The solution? Visual continuity established through a continuous logo evolution and animations that interact with each other rather than acting as discrete parts of a whole.
