PowerVision is an AI-powered SaaS platform designed to combat crime in LATAM by integrating real-time CCTV analytics and community collaboration.

Powervision is a next-generation surveillance platform built to combat crime in LATAM through real-time detection and intelligent response. Born out of frustration with rising insecurity and the limitations of traditional CCTV, the product redefines how businesses monitor, react, and prevent criminal activity — using the power of AI and smart data. As the product designer and co-founder, I led the design of the entire ecosystem: from the responsive web platform to the mobile experience and the scalable design system that supports both. The goal was to make cutting-edge surveillance feel intuitive, human and actionable — especially for security teams under pressure.

At the core of PowerVision is a powerful AI engine capable of detecting threats in real-time: shoplifting, weapons, unauthorized access, license plate recognition, loitering, and suspicious behavior. These events trigger instant alerts that are verified by the platform and logged for reporting. My job was to translate this intelligence into a UI that makes sense. A platform where a guard or manager can react within seconds. A space where incidents are not only visible — they’re actionable. This also extended to the mobile app, which was designed for store managers and field agents. Whether receiving alerts, verifying footage, or tracking a profile across locations, the experience had to feel fluid, responsive, and ready for high-stress use cases.

Powervision is already being adopted by major retail chains and is in talks with law enforcement and government agencies for direct collaboration. The product is changing how businesses respond to crime — turning passive surveillance into active prevention. This project pushed me to blend UX, strategy, and AI in high-stakes environments. Designing for safety is different — people rely on what you build to feel secure.
