Overview
As part of a university assignment, developed a fictional design system for the Brooklyn Book Festival, creating a cohesive typographic identity and visual elements tailored for both print and digital platforms, reflecting the festival’s ethos: hip, smart, and diverse.
Challenge
Faced the challenge of balancing historical and modern aesthetics while ensuring accessibility and functionality across various media, including managing a complex schedule of events and addressing diverse audience needs.
Solution
Designed an adaptable visual system inspired by Brooklyn’s cultural landscape, integrating typographic styles, a thoughtful color palette, and engaging layouts to enhance user engagement across print and digital formats.
