Brand Design: RuralTec.cv (Cabo Verde 🇨🇻)

Ruraltec.cv is a winner project of the “Startup Weekend Sustainable Revolution”, an event that took place in Boa Vista, Cabo Verde's island. And today the startup has become a company to solve the needs of the primary sector in the mentioned island.

The company, located in Sal-Rei, Boa Vista Island, Cabo Verde, aims to offer a set of services and products, implementing technological solutions, to better manage the water and raise awareness among producers, about the use of organic and certified products in order to boost the sector on the island.

All the process, while creating this visual identity, from the sketches, until its final phase, had the strong participation of managing partners, giving guidelines and ideas for necessary adjustments.

Creating this logo was amazing, in this visual identity, each element of this symbol, and the colors used becomes an important assets for the whole message.

Based on the business core of the company, that is serving their community farmers and livestock producers, with innovative tech and give them technical support on their affairs.

We try to build a concept, that shows that they build fences and protected area around the fields, because in Cabo Verde we have a lot of animal in the streets that goes into the fields and eat everything. So the idea, is to show the animal going away from the fields and showing some progress,as the go to a certain direction, that is "front". The base is colored with blue and brown that represents the land and the water. Two elements that are crucial while producing food (vegetables etc) and creating cattle and other animals.

The idea, was to create a simple logo, that could help them communicate and set a brand in the community.
