UX Case Study (Summary)
Problem
Life science teams relied on fragmented, data-heavy tools that made it difficult to track experiments, manage workflows, and access insights efficiently. A single, unified dashboard was needed to reduce complexity, improve visibility, and support different user roles without compromising accuracy or compliance.
Process
User research and stakeholder discussions helped identify key pain points and role-specific needs. User journeys were mapped, information architecture was simplified, and wireframes were tested iteratively. A component-based design system was created to ensure consistency and scalability.
Solution
A modular, role-based dashboard was designed to centralize experiments, instruments, samples, and analytics. Clear data hierarchy, interactive visualizations, streamlined workflows, and real-time alerts enabled faster task completion and better decision-making.
Outcome
The redesigned dashboard improved usability, reduced cognitive load, and increased efficiency across teams. Role-based views enhanced focus, while a scalable design system supported future growth and faster development cycles.
