When I joined Gibsons Puzzles in May, their Instagram account had 14k followers and 10k views in the last 30 days. By the time I concluded my role in September, the account had grown to nearly 17k followers and achieved 47k views, showcasing significant improvement in engagement and reach.
I reinvigorated their content strategy by introducing diverse, engaging, and community-focused posts, including:
Timelapse Videos: Showcasing puzzles being completed in real time to capture attention.
User-Generated Content: Featuring puzzles completed by followers who tagged us, creating a sense of community and encouraging further engagement.
Educational Content: Highlighting how puzzles contribute to wellness, mental health, and relaxation.
Behind-the-Scenes Stories: Sharing “Day in the Life” content from the Gibsons team to humanise the brand.
Competitions: Organising interactive contests, which garnered hundreds of responses and boosted visibility.
Tips & Tricks: Posts like “How to Puzzle Like a Pro” resonated with both casual and avid puzzlers.
This approach transformed Gibsons’ social media presence, significantly increasing engagement, reach, and community connection.
