Educational Video and Text Content | Blitzit

Blitzit is a productivity app designed to help users plan, prioritize, and focus on tasks in a gamified and efficient way.

I was invited to create educational content for Blitzit’s users, including video tutorials and Help Center articles, to guide them through the app’s features and help them get the most out of it.

My work included writing scripts for video tutorials, recording voiceovers and video, editing footage, and writing and editing articles for the Help Center.

To align with Blitzit’s friendly, community-driven ethos, I adopted a professional yet informal tone in the video tutorials, building trust and a human connection with the audience. For the Help Center articles, I focused on clear, neutral, and concise explanations, making information easy to find and understand.

In the "Daniel's Productive Planning Workflow with Blitzit" video, I showed a practical approach to using Blitzit by walking through my personal workflow in the app.

In the "How to Sync All Your Productivity Apps into Blitzit" video, I demonstrated how to integrate different productivity tools with Blitzit using Google Calendar as a hub. To prepare it, I researched multiple productivity apps, explored their technical aspects, and unpacked that complexity into a clear, easy-to-follow explanation for users.

Another example of my video work came from a specific request: quickly create an ad video using a viral clip from a Coldplay concert while it was still trending. I produced two versions — an extended one demonstrating Blitzit’s features, and a short version made for social media followers. Here is the short version.
