WooCommerce to Shopify Migration & Custom Shopify Development

I helped move their entire e-commerce store from WooCommerce to Shopify and added several custom features to improve how their business runs and how customers interact with the site.

The first part of the project was a full migration. I started by backing up the existing WooCommerce store and exporting all data—products, customers, and orders. Then I set up a new Shopify store, imported everything, and made sure the design and functionality matched their original store. I also reviewed SEO basics, fixed content gaps, and tested the site thoroughly before the final launch.

After the migration, I worked on custom Shopify improvements. One key task was allowing customers to update their prescription data directly from their accounts—a feature that was previously only accessible to the internal team. I also set up smart subscription logic: when someone chooses a 2- or 3-month trial supply, the system automatically sets the correct billing cycle (8 or 12 weeks).
