As a professional UI/UX designer, I was hired with the mission to revamp the outdated and unusable website of El Lector, a bookstore in Paraguay. 

My approach was to translate the physical shop experience to the web while improving the user experience and increasing conversions. 

I focused on creating an intuitive navigation system, showcasing promotions and new books, and using typography to improve readability.

To address the outdated design, I came up with a new UI design solution that was both modern and user-friendly. I wanted to create a design that would be easy to navigate and encourage visitors to stay on the site longer. 

The main purpose of the new design was to facilitate users finding the books they want, while also showcasing promotions and new books. 

To achieve this, I implemented an intuitive navigation system that prominently displayed the search bar, making it easy for users to find what they're looking for.

To encourage users to sign up or login, I added a call-to-action button on the top navigation bar. This made it easy for users to create an account or log in, without having to search for the option.
