PepsiCo's three-year partnership with Pensole Lewis College of Business and Design, the only HBCU dedicated to design, led to an inspiring collaboration. PLC students engaged in a 10-week masterclass, culminating in the selection of Angel Buckens and Rodney Banks' winning design for a new campus lounge. With guidance from PepsiCo Design & Innovation and MillerKnoll, the winning concept became a reality in September 2023. The lounge's unveiling drew 188 guests, including PepsiCo Executives and Detroit locals, with NBA star Russell Westbrook supporting the event. This initiative highlights PepsiCo's commitment to its Racial Equality Journey, investing $400 million to boost Black representation, support Black-owned businesses, and foster economic opportunities. The lounge stands as a testament to creativity, collaboration, and the potential unlocked when talent meets opportunity.

  3. Vendor Coordination: I handled vendor management, negotiating contracts and coordinating with suppliers. This encompassed acquiring furniture, decor, and technical requirements to create a relaxed yet professional ambiance at the event
  4. Video Content Creation: I worked alongside my team to craft an impactful video that showcased the journey from the lounge's design inception to its final unveiling, capturing the creativity and significance of the collaboration.
