Designing a High-Converting Landing Page for a Workflow Automation Startup

Project Overview

Crono, a new workflow automation platform, had just launched their MVP. The product was solid, but their landing page wasn’t doing it justice. It felt generic and technical and it wasn’t clearly communicating why Crono mattered or who it was for.
They needed a landing page that would do more than look good. It had to attract the right teams, explain the product clearly, and drive sign-ups fast.

Pain Point:

The team had spent months building a great tool, but they were stuck with a placeholder website.
Potential users weren’t getting the full picture. Messaging was too abstract, the layout felt flat, and the brand lacked personality. They were proud of what they’d built, but the website didn’t reflect that.
Without a strong landing page, their launch momentum was starting to stall.

What I did:

I stepped in to design a landing page that felt modern, confident, and conversion-focused, just like the product.

Our Focus:

We focused on three things:
Clear, emotional messaging; less tech jargon, more real-world value
A dark, sleek interface with bold Byzantine accents to make the brand feel distinct
Strategic layout : A hero section that hooks, feature blocks that explain, and CTAs that convert
The page wasn’t just pretty, it was purposeful. Every section was designed around one question: “How does this help the visitor say yes?”

The Results:

The updated landing page helped Crono:
Build early trust with their target audience
Sharpen their positioning as a high-performance tool for scaling teams
Communicate their core value, automation without the complexity, in under 10 seconds
Increase time-on-page and early sign-ups in the first week of launch
It gave the team the brand presence they needed to match the quality of their product.

What I Learned

You don’t always need to redesign the whole platform. Sometimes, a well-designed landing page is enough to shift momentum, tell a clearer story, and give a team the confidence to launch strong.
