High-traffic web campaigns for Kinder Middle East, developed during my contract at HKS (UAE) — one of the region's leading tech agencies. Delivered two consecutive campaigns: "Back to School" and "Ramadan", the second retained immediately after the first's results.
What I delivered
Responsive, high-performance campaign websites in PHP and TailwindCSS, built to handle significant traffic spikes around campaign launch dates
Dynamic IP-based localization engine: automatically detected user location and swapped images, product names, and copy across multiple regional variants — no manual content duplication
Critical security hardening across the platform: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) implementation and domain security upgrades via AWS
Fast turnaround on both campaigns without sacrificing code quality or performance
Technical highlights
The localization system was the most interesting engineering challenge. Rather than maintaining separate pages per region, I built a single codebase with a flexible content layer that resolved the correct variant at request time based on IP geolocation. This made future campaign updates a single-touch operation instead of duplicating changes across regions.
The client retained me for a second campaign immediately after delivery — the clearest signal that both the output and the working relationship met enterprise expectations.
