Abstract
 
Background: This research investigates the impact of stress on the performance of healthcare workers, with a focus on diverse ethnic groups. Stress is a pervasive issue in the healthcare sector, affecting professionals' well-being and job effectiveness.
Methods: A mixed-methods approach, including surveys and statistical analysis, was employed to collect data from healthcare workers in UK hospitals. The study assessed stress levels, its correlation with job performance, and potential variations across different ethnic backgrounds.
Results: Findings reveal a significant association between stress and job performance among healthcare workers. Despite ethnic differences, stress affects professionals universally, emphasize the need for tailored interventions to address stressors effectively.
Conclusion: The study underscores the importance of prioritizing the mental health of healthcare workers to ensure optimal patient care. By recognizing and mitigating stress, healthcare institutions can foster a supportive work environment and enhance the well-being and effectiveness of their staff.
