Meliponicultura Cantada (Stingless Bees)

Meliponiculture Cantada is an editorial project developed for the Meliponicultura Sem Segredos book series, combining narrative illustration, scientific illustration and visual development focused on the world of Brazilian stingless bees. The challenge was to create a visual language capable of balancing biological accuracy with expressive storytelling, making technical content more engaging, accessible and visually rich. The project includes book cover development, environmental painting, character-based compositions, anatomical studies, comparative species plates, natural predators, floral ecosystems and nest structures, building a complete visual universe around meliponiculture. This work explores the intersection between education, biodiversity and visual storytelling, transforming scientific information into immersive and didactic imagery.
